Yup, and did you know too that teams coming off a GAME 7 victory facing a team that won in a four-game sweep are 3-14 SU & 4-13 ATS in GAME 1 too!? That also favors the KNICKS too huh!? 🤔
Well, I really don’t give a shit about that in THIS GAME! Did people forget that the SPURS lost the NBA CUP CHAMPIONSHIP to this Knicks team!? 🤔 The Spurs have major revenge in this game! And they’ve built a ton of momentum heading into this big game at HOME! We are literally watching HISTORY with Wembanyama and this Spurs team! Also, the Knicks aren’t playing the inconsistent HAWKS, a banged up 76ERS team, or tanking CAVS team that basically gave up after blowing GAME 1 of the ECF.. the Knicks are literally playing a team that won 62 games in the regular season and a team that just beat the THUNDER 7x this season! 👀 GIVE THEM SOME RESPECT!!
Yes, I know the Knicks have experience with HC Mike Brown and a few guys on this roster! SURE! However, they haven’t played a game since MAY 25th which means they haven’t played a playoff basketball game in 8 days! THEY WILL COME OUT RUSTY! Especially on the ROAD in a hostile environment! This happened before in their last series against the CAVS and luckily enough, they made an incredible comeback AT HOME to WIN GAME 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals! But that was against the CAVS that play no defense! This is the SPURS and this SPURS team is top-five overall in defensive effective efficiency and rebounding and “IF” they are up big, they WILL NOT blow a big lead.
In my opinion, the competition the SPURS faced in the playoffs, plus obviously the WIN over the THUNDER (the defending champs), only leads me to believe that the momentum built up here coming off two straight victories to win the WCF, I can only look to the side with the SPURS here (-4.5)!
Note, since 2002, HOME FAVORITES in The FINALS that are listed (-7.5) or lower in GAME 1 of the series, facing a team with a win percentage of .630 or higher are an incredible 15-1 SU & ATS. 👀
Now do I think the SPURS can win the series? I do for many reasons! Mainly because I don’t see the KNICKS winning both The NBA CUP and The FINALS! That would be insane and I believe the NBA is really trying to build something around Wembanyama! He is the new face of the NBA for many years to come!
